Locally, nationally and around the world, there are teens needing to be saved! Saved from what? Drug addiction, Alcohol abuse, Use of Tobacco, The battle with Obesity and Depression, Peer pressure, Mental, Verbal and Physical abuse, Sexual Temptations before Marriage, and the list goes on. Maybe even now someone needing to be saved has come to mind. Friend there is Hope!

Not only is there temporary Hope, there is Eternal Hope. Right now, there are teens needing to be saved Eternally from the ways of this world, and shown the Hope of Heaven through the Way of the Cross.

After one is saved, one has a Testimony of the salvation. Therefore, S.W.A.T. TEENS® are teens who are Saved With A Testimony.

It all began several years ago when Jorgen C. Runquist, founder and president of this not-for-profit public charity ministry/organization, receive a phone call as he was traveling coast to coast playing music and proclaiming the Word in message and song with the group known as The Sons Of Tennessee. A friend needing help with the youth, challenged Jorgen to create a youth program that would get the attention of teens from all walks of life. After much thought and prayer, Jorgen and his wife, Karah, both answered the call through the leading of the Lord, and a decade of S.W.A.T. TEENS® was born.

Over the course of time S.W.A.T. TEENS® has grown to be an outlet for youth from all walks of life. Earning points, achieving awards, receiving logo paraphanelia, serving within local communities and becoming the individual God desire each teen to be, are just a few of the benefits of getting involved in the program, which in return is making a difference in society today.

The organization does place great value on working with public schools, a variety of civic and church groups as well as community leaders, law enforcement S.W.A.T. Teams, and select branches of the military. The organization is also involved in the racing industry and rallies together to promoting patriotism, support for our troops and love for America.
